Who are we?

David Matthews, strategic planning specialist

David Matthews

David is a chartered accountant and fellow of the association of business recovery professionals but he spent the first 10 years of his working life as a chartered mining engineer where the daily volatility of the working environment and labour relations honed his skills in managing unpredictable and stressful situations. Effective planning, risk management and getting the buy-in of people with diverse and sometimes contrasting agendas is second nature.

This was followed by 17 years with Deloitte Haskins and Sells, KPMG and Grant Thornton working as a restructuring professional in the UK and international arena with both SMEs and listed companies.

Sectors of particular experience include manufacturing, engineering, technology and construction services.
